In March 2006, RACV Insurance signed on as a sponsor of CFA’s Fire Awareness Caravan. Based in the Barwon Corangamite Area, the caravan is an integral part of CFA’s Community Safety Program.
The funds RACV Insurance provide each year will help to upgrade facilities within the caravan and keep the program running around the state.

The
sponsorship was launched on Geelong’s foreshore
in March 2006. CFA CEO Neil Bibby and RACV Deputy Chairman
John Isaac were joined by Geelong AFL Legend, Billy Brownless
and City of Greater Geelong Mayor, Peter McMullin to celebrate
the difference the sponsorship will make to the City and
surrounding area (pictured).
Brigades from Highton and Geelong West helped draw a crowd and add some excitement to the day when one of the brigades was called out to a motor vehicle accident.
The brigade returned a short time later and helped school children from South Geelong Primary School enjoy a range of fire safety games and activities (pictured).
