CFA's connection to community goes back generations. We work to empower communities to be prepared for fire and our communities support CFA by volunteering and raising precious funds.
Community fundraising boosts Government funding to help CFA and local brigades educate, prepare and protect Victorians against harm from fire.
You can organise a fundraiser nominating CFA, or one of our brigades, as the recipient.
There are conditions and guidelines you need to follow to help us make sure that the money you raise in CFA’s name makes it to the right place. Please download our Fundraising Kit (PDF 625.1KB) for more information.
Note, the Fundraising Kit includes a form which you must fill out and submit to us at cfagivingcommunity@cfa.vic.gov.au.
Your application will be assessed. If you are approved to fundraise on behalf of CFA, you’ll be issued with a Fundraising Authorisation which you can use to identify yourself as a registered fundraiser for the duration of the permit.
Fundraisers may include:
- Ticketed events
- Collections
- Raffles
- Online fundraisers.
Online fundraising is a fun, convenient way for you to support CFA.
To make it easy for you, CFA has selected 2 platforms which link to our PayPal Giving Fund. They are:
Please follow our conditions and guidelines (above) and nominate your recipient as the Trustee for Country Fire Authority and Brigades Donations Fund.
